Dear customer,

In such unprecedented times, we have received notifications from our suppliers that, due to a number of reasons detailed below, further price changes are needing to be applied. Consequently, we would like to detail timings for when such information will be made available to you.

Price changes will be applied on Monday 5th July 2021.

To allow you to forward plan and implement these changes, we have made the new price list available to download.

The main reasons for these changes are as follows:

Further increases in the cost of raw materials.

The price of cotton has risen by almost 90% since its low in April 2020 and is now at its highest price since 2018. Polyester is rapidly increasing due to oil prices and demand.

The rise of freight and container costs.

Surging demand for goods, plus a shortage of empty containers at Asian ports, have sent container-shipping costs rocketing. Since November, the cost of shipping a 40-foot container from Asia to Europe has risen more than threefold, from around $2,200 to over $7,900. That, alone, can add 5% to the cost of goods.

If you have any further questions about these price changes, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards,
